Website descriptions are general. A project exists only after the correct legal entity issues a written scope or contract, the customer approves it, any required notices are delivered, and any required payment clears.
Scope and specialists
Kendall Contracting directly performs work within its verified scope. When a project needs a licensed or specialty trade, the written proposal will state whether that specialist is subcontracted by Kendall Contracting or contracted directly by the customer. No website statement expands the company’s license, registration, insurance, or permit authority.
Estimates, deposits, and changes
Pricing depends on visible condition, access, quantities, materials, timing, permits, travel, and risk. Deposits and progress payments appear in the written agreement. Concealed or changed conditions require a written change order before affected work continues.
Scheduling and weather
Dates are confirmed only in writing and may depend on material availability, permits, customer selections, access, weather, and specialist availability. Customers receive reasonable updates when conditions change.
Workmanship and warranty
Any workmanship warranty applies only as stated in the signed project agreement. Manufacturer warranties, customer-supplied materials, normal wear, movement, moisture, abuse, lack of maintenance, third-party changes, concealed conditions, and excluded work are handled as the agreement states.
Emergencies and hazards
The website and request form are not emergency services. Active fire, gas, electrical, water, structural, health, or safety hazards should be directed to emergency services, utilities, or the appropriate licensed professional.
